Currently I have 3 main sections of my project.

First I am trying to create a way to test lots of different drugs on Reptin at the same time so we can look at lots and it doesn’t take up loads of time.

I am also trying to work out proteins which in interact with Reptin which haven’t been found yet. To do this I am using bioinformatics which means I use a computer to get my results not work in the lab like I do normally.

The final thing I am doing at the moment is looking at Reptin and some of the proteins we already know it works with down a microscope making then fluorescent. What this means is I join brightly coloured molecules to my proteins and then look down a microscope at them to see where they are in the cell.
