      He’s called Crick. We originally had two chipmunks and we had just finished our genetics degrees at the time so we named them Watson and Crick. They, along with Rosalind Franklin were the people who first discovered DNA and its structure.

      Unfortunately, Watson died really young but we still have Crick and he’s nearly 2 years old now. He’s adorable and really cute but super messy and quite hard work! He’s unusual because he’s a white chipmunk with light yellow stripes- whilst his brother was the typical brown colour. A nice example of genetic inheritance!
