• Question: would you ever like to be a science teacher in a school for little kids ?

      I enjoy explaining science to people with very little science knowledge already – it’s very difficult but for a scientist being able to communicate ideas well is very important. When you talk to people who are far out of your field it forces you to see what the really important and relevant parts of your work are and why it really matters – to see the bigger picture.

      Albert Einstein famously said “You do not really understand something unless you can explain it to your grandmother”, which I think is true.
