      I quite like doing immunofluorescence because it looks really pretty!

      Basically, we chose a protein we want to look at and put our human cells onto a slide. We then use an antibody against that protein- with another antibody that binds to the original antibody (sorry if that doesn’t make sense). The second antibody is fluorescent so it ‘lights up’ when we look at it under a microscope so we can see exactly where in the cell our protein is!

      Here’s an example of what it might look like:

      You can use different stains and fluorescence colours for different proteins and you can get some really cool pictures!
